Gerard Kelly

Gerard Kelly joined Kentor Gold in April 2010 after a successful international career in commercial roles including four years with Rio Tinto as Group Project Financial Controller in Thailand and Vietnam managing construction projects.  Prior to that, Gerard project managed the introduction of new accounting and other systems for some of the world’s largest professional services firms in Europe, established a successful start-up in business software and also gained experience in international commodities trading.

Kelvin Russell

Kelvin Russell has spent more than 25 years specialising in resource sector financing with leading investment banks, including NM Rothschild and, for 11 years, Standard Bank, as Director, Mining & Metals in the UK and Australia. His involvement in project and corporate financing has extended throughout the Australian, Asian, Pacific Rim and African regions. Kelvin had been providing corporate financial advice to Kentor Gold as a consultant prior to joining the Company in an executive capacity in March 2010.

Kylie Anderson

Kylie Anderson has fifteen years experience in the resources industry and holds a Masters in Professional Accounting and Masters in Business Administration, backed by a Bachelor of Science (Chemistry). Since 1993 Kylie has held senior Financial and Company Secretary positions with a number of resource companies including Rio Tinto and Felix Resourcesl Ltd, as well as lecturing at Central Queensland University. Kylie is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and an affiliate of the Chartered Secretaries Association of Australia.

Keith Mayes

Keith Mayes was previously Chief Executive Officer for Jinka Minerals Limited and Chief Operating Officer for Altura Mining Limited. He has over 20 years experience in the resources sector in exploration, business development, operational and ?nancial roles with major mining companies including North Limited, Newmont, Rio Tinto and Oxiana in Australia, Europe and Africa.  Keith joined Kentor in 2011 upon the acquisition of Jinka Minerals Limited.  He holds a BSc (Hons), MFin & FGS.

Mark Shelverton

Manager, Geology

Mark Shelverton is an experienced geologist with 14 years of experience in the Australian resource sector and has held a number of senior mine and exploration geological roles during his career, including experienced gained working with Great Central Mines Ltd, Normandy Mining Ltd, Newmont Asia Pacific, Oxiana Pty Ltd and Epsilon Energy Ltd. Most recently he held the position of Principal Exploration Geologist at Newmont Asia Pacific’s Jundee Operation. Mark has had exposure to a range of commodities including gold, copper, zinc, lead and uranium and has extensive mining and resource development experience in many of these commodities. Mark holds a B.Sc Geology (Hons) from the University of Tasmania.

 

Rudy Lennartz

Rudy Lennartz is a geologist with 25 years of exploration and mine operations experience. He has held senior exploration and mining positions with numerous companies throughout Australia.  During his employment with the Northern Territory Government Rudy undertook significant land resource surveys, geological assessments and has an extensive knowledge of Northern Territory government processes and procedures.  As a director of his own Northern Territory based exploration company for the past 6 years he has overseen a diverse range of exploration activities both nationally and internationally across a variety of geological terrains and mineral exploration tenements.  Rudy holds a BAppSc(Geol), and a Graduate Diploma in Resource Management.
